The screen is extremely sensitive to external light, in response to which it adjusts its own brightness.

When using the Apple iPad you can easily switch from the landscape to portrait mode just by moving the iPad to a position that suits you. You can even turn it upside down and watch the screen adjust itself! The iPad uses the Wi-Fi to connect to the nearest internet connection and also to determine your GPRS positioning. Although the iPad comes with headphones and an Apple doc connector, it lacks an USB port. The iPad is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery and works fine for many hours if fully charged.
